“On Winter Time”

Jazz trumpets
caressing the cold November winds
they bring out the
darkening afternoons
winter time blues
tucked within a big black coat

Felidae voice
gliding oh so sweetly

  1. I like this, this is good (and this is, by the way, just my small opinion). Get rid of every word that doesn’t need to be there in any poem. It leaves so much to the imagination. This is tight, concise, well-rounded. Slightly sad but very, very lovely. It’s all here!
