“Worn Out”

Thank God I’m worn out,
systems darkening, about to die out
and I’ve had enough of it all. It all ends and now
I’m a new day.

Don’t care if I was a loser,
It’s all over now, so
let me sleep and open my eyes
somewhere different.

Don’t wake me up,
I’m in the middle of a sugar rush,
not empty, not lonely.
Can’t you feel the glow bursting out of me?

The wind’s running inside is
carrying us upwards, upwards, upwards

until we’re in an endless flight,
spinning us around, around and around
in a never-ending wheel
of good fortune.
